IMPLEMENTATION OF A FACIAL RECOGNITION SOLUTION
Gemadec has implemented, on behalf of the CIMR, a solution for the dematerialization of the life certificate, which allows to establish the proof of life, through the facial recognition technology of the world leader in biometric authentication solutions DAON.
The CIMR offers its beneficiaries a mobile application "CIMR DIALCOM" in which they can, among other things, "Attest their life" by taking a dynamic selfie. Once downloaded, the application is configured on the smartphone of the beneficiary, who can enroll autonomously through his biometric passport by following the procedure displayed by the application, or by going directly to a CIMR agency, to perform this operation with the help of a CIMR agent.
Thus, the mobile application automatically captures the identity information from the biometric passport and securely extracts the identity photo. This photo is biometrically compared with the photo taken with the beneficiary's smartphone (selfie). This selfie is dynamic because it includes "life challenges" that the retiree is invited to make in front of his smartphone, through eye blinks and head movements. The application reliably detects that the person is still alive and proceeds to verify the retiree's identity, and then authorize payment of their pension.
Gemadec and Daon allow the CIMR, through this mobile application which is part of its digitalization policy, to revolutionize the life certificate and simplify the procedure for pensioners to pay their pension.
